Depending on your security software, especially if it is one of those that are created outside of Japan and provided for free, a normal file may be falsely recognized as a security threat.
If you get such a warning, it is often the case that some string of characters in the product file is being falsely recognized as a virus by your security software.
We are aware that anti-virus software created outside of Japan sometimes falsely recognizes software in Japanese as spyware, malware, a virus or simply as 'unsafe' (without any further reason).
Unfortunately, we cannot negotiate directly with foreign software manufacturers regarding problems with the efficacy of their software.
DLsite carefully checks all its products using the latest versions of anti-virus tools prior to sale, so please rest assured and make use of our website with a sense of security.
If you cannot download/extract/start a product because of a false detection, try setting an exception rule for the product folder/file with your security software, or disabling it temporarily.
If the security software continues to give you trouble, you may wish to consider using something different.
