Community Guidelines (WIP)

Welcome to the Community section of DLsite's helpdesk!

We have opened this space for the purpose of providing DLsite enthusiasts with a place for unfiltered and open discussions where members can share their ideas and requests and discuss DLsite features freely.

Of course, to keep this community a welcoming, comfortable, and valuable place for everyone, we ask that participants follow a few simple guidelines.

• Please be respectful and civil in your posts.

While disagreement is something that naturally occurs, DLsite does not support or endorse personal attacks, harassment, or hostile language. While we understand that tempers can certainly flare up when it comes to passions close to the heart... we ask that everyone endeavors to contribute in a positive and constructive way and offer feedback that helps move discussions forward rather than shutting them down.

• Please avoid posting spam or irrelevant content.

Ideally, posts should be meaningful and contribute to the community, so that we can all have "nice things." Please be aware that this is not a space for venting anger or "blowing off steam" at others.

• For account or technical support inquiries, please contact the helpdesk for assistance rather than posting in the community.

Many inquiries will require your account details / purchase data information, etc. and posting such information in a publicly visible location like this community may result in a personal information leak. ("Doxxing")

• Finally, please be aware that DLsite staff members may also participate in the community.

As members themselves, DLsite staff may comment on ideas and features, and participate in discussions regarding topics of interest. We ask that you treat them as you would any other participant.

We hope to build a thoughtful and supportive environment together, and your participation and cooperation is guaranteed to play an important role in that!
