Your smartphone settings may prevent you from installing apks that haven't been downloaded from the Google Play store. Please try changing the settings using the methods below.
* Android 8.0 or above
- Open File Manger, and select the APK file you want to install.
- If it displays [For your security, your phone is not allowed to install apps from unknown sources], tap [Settings].
- Enable the [Install from Unknown Sources] option.
- If you can install the file, a confirmation screen will appear. Click the Install button to complete the installation.
* Android 7.1 or earlier.
- Open File Manger, and select the APK file you want to install.
- If it displays [Install Blocked], tap [Settings]
- When Security settings open, tap "Install Unknown Apps" to switch it on.
- Return to the File Manager, and select the APK file you want to install again. If you can install the file, a confirmation screen will appear. Click the Install button to complete the installation.
A file manager is required to open downloaded files. If you do not have such an application, please install one of your choosing.
* An "Unsafe App Blocked" message was displayed
If the installation was blocked by Google Play's protection, please try installing the app by selecting the "Install" option that is displayed along with the warning message.
Please also be aware that, if you have third party security, data cleaner, pop-up blocking, etc. apps installed on your device, they may be interfering with the installation of the app in some way.
If you happen to have any such apps installed, we recommend that you temporarily disable them before attempting to install the blocked app again.
