If you ever encounter a game or software that does not run / startup, spits out an error when attempting to, or displays odd behavior, it may be a sign that it is being restricted or blocked by your security software.
Note: Over the years, DLsite has received thousands of false-positive reports where "certain" anti-virus software are simply incompatible with Japanese fonts in .exe format games / encrypted data in DRM protected products. (This tendency has been extremely noticeable with so-called "free" anti-virus software, so please keep this in mind.)
If all else fails you may wish to try turning off temporarily the firewall settings of Windows and other security software when downloading, extracting, and executing the file... AND setting an exception rule for the product folder / files in your anti-virus.
