PlayDRM is a serial key style protection software designed to prevent illegal redistribution and copyright infringement.
When you purchase PlayDRM protected products, a license key / serial number will be issued and displayed on the respective product download pages.
■About the license key / serial number
Once you have purchased a product, please note down the 16-digit license key and download the product files.
The license key will be required to run the product.
If you wish to confirm your license key / serial number, click the download button for the work in question via the [ Download History ] menu found in [ My Page ].
■About authorization
No special viewer is required.
You will need to authorize the product when you launch it for the first time.
(When you double-click the product's exe file, a dialog box similar to the image below should be displayed.)
* If you are presented with a different dialog displaying a support serial ID, then that is the wrong .exe file. When there is a "startup.exe" for protected works, that will always be the correct file to run the product.
Authentication only needs to be performed once after installation. After which you will be able to run the product without impediment.
Also, please note that the following restrictions apply.
- You cannot authenticate without an active internet connection.
- Products that require a license key / serial number authentication have a limit on the number of times they can be installed.
If you reach your maximum limit, please [Contact Us] for assistance. - If the limit has been reached as the result of unauthorized distribution to third persons, we shall decline any request for a reissue.
- If you reinstall your operating system, then authentication will be required again.
- Depending on your security software, especially if it is one of those that are created outside of Japan and provided for free, you may not be able to authorize your product properly. If so, please check [ Security Software Settings ] or try setting an exception rule for the product folder/file with your security software, or disabling it temporarily.
- It is not possible to run PlayDRM protected software in virtual Windows environments such as Virtual PC or VMware.
- It is not possible to run PlayDRM protected software in remotely accessed Windows environments (LAPLINK, Helpdesk, TeamViewer, etc.)
